will participate in bringing basic sanitation to our neighbors in Central Africa Republic.
Quilters from around the world are invited to join our Global Quilt Project!
Your donated 12 x 12 inch blocks will be pieced together to form one beautiful quilt.
The quilt will reflect the message that when our efforts stand alone they may seem insignificant but as we join together we can make a difference in the lives of our neighbors around the world.
The quilt will be auctioned and two latrines will be built at a school in CAR. One latrine will be for the boy's use and the other latrine will be for the girl's use. These latrines will not only help stop the spread of disease but will also provide privacy which will help bring more girls into the schools.
Join our efforts by donation a 12 x 12 inch block or a 9 1/2 x 9 1/2 inch block or by helping us spread the news about this project!

It was brought to our attention that the wife of one of our partners was teaching quilting to the ladies in Central Africa Republic. After seeing Faye Hocking's photo of the ladies we contacted her to see if we could receive a block from the ladies in CAR to start a quilting fundraiser. We were sent our first block from CAR which will be the center of the quilt.

Please keep in mind that most people living in these remote regions of our world live on less than $2 per day. There are no fabric shops to visit nor electricity to run sewing machines but they do have a passion for learning and making a difference in the community where they live.
