Pictures Tell A Thousand Words

Though hundreds of miles away, there are billions of people who live the best they can with the resources they have available to them.

In developing countries the daily chore of collecting water is usually given to women and girls. These trips are made daily and ofter require walking several miles one way. They carry approximently 5 gallons (41 pounds) per trip and the average family needs 20 gallons of water each day for drinking, cleaning and small crops. This means the trip must be made several times each day and does not allow for girls to attend school or for women to lead more productive lives. In areas where the terrain allows, a Hippo Roller can make a huge difference in the lives of these women and girls. The Hippo Roller also reduces the risk of long term neck, back and spinal injury.
